Songs of Hope is an annual fundraising concert event in support of Seeds of Hope Foundation.
Seeds of Hope is one of the most significant, impactful grass-roots charity in our city. Because of our grass-roots nature, working at ground level in the trenches of homelessness, we can work with the most vulnerable populations living rough in the streets, encampments, forests, shelters, and elsewhere… with more agility and greater success than most larger organizations.
We have come to understand, via our street level approach with those in need as well as partnerships and connection and inclusion with research and proven approaches, that basic needs need to be met before greater life-changes can be made. When basic survival is challenged, there is no capacity to next step changes to a better life.
We have a wholistic approach that starts with treating people with dignity, and hearing from them, where their life trajectory needs to go. Once shelter, food security and basic health concerns are addressed, we can continue fostering this relationship towards their life goals.
